Art in Focus

If you are a shutterbug, and a long-time resident in Second Life, chances are that by now you have several folders in your hard disk populated with all sorts of pictures: your favorite locations, your friends, yourself of course as a testament of the way your avatar has evolved through the years. And in your inventory, you most probably have pose balls and animations to use and get that perfect pic you proudly frame and hang on your wall, right? Not to mention that you may have a Flickr account to share all those gorgeous landscapes, funny faces, and hot bodies with the rest of the world.

But it’s also possible that you feel you already exhausted every good spot in SL; you rummage through your landmarks folder and can’t find a place where you haven’t taken a picture yet. Well, what if I tell you there is a place where you can take great pictures as part of famous works of art or the most celebrated manifestations of popular culture? Yes, that’s the whole point of Art Box, a place where you can recreate famous photos and art with you as the star of them. So, get your camera ready and your eyes even more ready, because you’re going to spend a lot of time having fun and taking all the pictures you always wanted to have. And, don’t forget to bring your friends, since many of the photo ops are meant for several people!
